Organisational Consulting Services

Why Invest in an Organisational Consultant?

  • Do you have the feeling that management and teams are misaligned in their goals, sometimes working in opposition?

  • Are the pressures of management causing a reliance on the safety of habits, or poor decisions, and unclear directions?

  • Have you ever found desired changes difficult to action, even when data indicates they may lead to an improvement?

Investing in organisational consulting may initially seem intangible, but its value becomes clear when considering the deeper, often hidden forces that shape how organisations function. The emotional dynamics within an organisation, both conscious and unconscious, greatly influence decision-making, communication, and overall performance. When left unaddressed, they can create barriers that undermine potential, be disruptive for responses to market forces or internal alignments, and so ultimately hinder growth.

Work in these areas focuses on uncovering and understanding the underlying emotional currents that influence team behaviours, relationships, and decisions. By bringing attention to these hidden factors, organisations can improve their decision-making and ability to navigate challenges, foster more effective communication, and create a culture of collaboration and innovation. The benefits of investing in this approach are profound: organisations become healthier, more adaptable, and better positioned to respond to internal and external pressures.

What is Organisational Consulting?

Organisational consulting looks beyond the visible management structures and operational procedures to understand the emotional and relational forces that shape how an organisation functions. Often, these forces are not immediately apparent, but they significantly affect the functioning of teams, leadership, and the overall culture. By examining underlying dynamics, I help organisations shift from unconscious patterns of behaviour to more productive, thoughtful ways of working. This deeper understanding allows organisations to move forward with greater clarity, resilience, and purpose.
At the heart of my approach is the understanding that organisations, like individuals, have emotional lives. An organisation's patterns of communication, decision-making, and conflicts often reflect deeper, unspoken anxieties of individuals within the system. By helping organisations make sense of these dynamics, I support teams to navigate transitions, improve collaboration, and unlock creativity; fostering healthier, more adaptive workplaces.

Leadership challenges often stem from unconscious dynamics where teams relate to a leader in unhelpful ways or adopt roles not aligned with the actual leadership structure.

I help leaders understand how these dynamics affect a team's decision-making and provide tools to foster self-awareness, clarity, and stronger collaboration within teams.

Initial Consultations

I offer an initial consultation free of charge, lasting between 1-2 hours. This meeting provides an opportunity to explore the challenges your organisation is facing, clarify your aims, and discuss how an intervention might help your organisation's goals. It’s a space to think together about what’s happening in your organisation and what kind of support might be needed.

If we decide to work together, pricing ranges from £120–£280 per hour, depending on the nature of the work and the time required to achieve the goals set out in the initial consultation. This flexible approach reflects the different scales, complexities, and durations of organisational consulting projects, from one-off consultations to ongoing advisory partnerships.
